4 -5 pounds pork shoulder
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 large onion , sliced
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup chicken broth

Pat the pork shoulder dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Rub the spice mixture all over the pork shoulder, coating all sides.
Place sliced onions in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Set the seasoned pork on top of the onions, fat side up.
Pour apple cider vinegar and chicken broth around the sides of the pork.
Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 5-6 hours, until pork is fork-tender.
